House of Seafood Inc. was founded by the McLoyd family in 1994. Born and raised in New York City, specifically Harlem, the family saw the need for a “soulful” restaurant and comfortable home where our community of customers could enjoy the makings of exquisite, memorable and mouth watering seafood and southern “soulfood” dishes. Over the years, House of Seafood Inc. became a place where both the food and the environment gave our customers the feeling of, “back home” or “back then” when Grandma did the cooking.
A product of the community, House of Seafood especially wants to continue to serve the community, a community that’s continued to embrace and support our family owned business. Our restaurant can only prosper and provide opportunities for employment and growth when we continually improve ourselves, and the work we do. We understand that success is not measured by sales alone. We are measured as much by the way in which we achieve our goals as we are by the actual achievements themselves. We believe that commitment to uncompromising values and integrity will continue to guide our decisions and actions during our pursuit. In saying this, House of Seafood Inc. will continue to keep the culture and traditions of the Harlem community while continuing to maintain our bond in house.
